Matthew Hatcher is owner and winemaker with talents have put Hatcher on the "Don’t Miss" list of Foothill wineries. He is assisted by his brother/partner, Sewell Hatcher and assistant winemaker Scotty Hancock.
Hatcher Winery was established in 2002, and is located in the Sierra Foothills with a tasting room in downtown Murphys and a winery in Vallecito. Thier vineyards are located in Angels Camp and Vallecito, where they grow Zinfandel, Syrah, Carignane, Merlot and Malbec.
