It's been a strange winter especially compared to 2023 when we had six feet of snow on the property for months! There were times Bruce was on
the tractor more than not on
the tractor, mostly clearing paths in case of emergency. Today it's a chilly 36 degrees with blue skies and sunshine. Don't be fooled though - the ski and snow play areas are ready to go!
Bear Valley Village , Bear Valley Resort , and Bear Valley Adventure Company each offer great options to enjoy the snow.
Did you know that there are 40 MILES of groomed trails for cross-country skiing up there???? The extensive trail system of groomed paths covers over 3,000 acres. There are three warming huts thoughout the system. We often drive up just to have an awesome burger at Reba's Meadow Cafe . You can walk, snowshoe, or ski to the cafe. They are open daily from 10am-3pm.

The snow just keeps on comin'! Cal Trans is doing a great job keeping Highway 4 cleared, and Bruce is busy, daily, on his tractor. Come on up, enjoy the winter activities, and finish the day with a soak in the hot tub!
