Gourmet Picnic in the Meadow

For a special occasion, or just because - we can customize a picnic for you, to be enjoyed in our beautiful gardens. Gourmet sandwiches, salads, cheeses and meats are all optional items for your basket. Wine and other beverages are also available. Your picnic can also be packed to go, for a beautiful hike at Big Trees State Park.

Welcome Baskets
Baskets can be ordered with 48 hours notice, and will be in your room when you arrive. Each basket is custom-made, so please let us tailor one just for you. We can include local wines, event tickets, restaurant gift certificates, etc. Additionally, the room can be prepared with flower arrangements, rose petals, balloons, candles, champagne on ice - whatever you request for that special birthday, anniversary, or wedding proposal!

Gift Certificates
For holiday giving, anniversaries and birthdays, Black Bear Inn Gift Certificates are a great way to help create lasting memories. Our gift certificates can cover specific room rates and lengths of stay, or provide a partial credit toward the lodging costs.

Book the Inn 30% OFF!!!

Groups of friends, five couples, families, birthday celebrations, scrapbook weekends - if you are interested in booking the Inn (five rooms) for two nights in the month of March, you will receive 30% off the entire booking. Room rates include a full gourmet breakfast daily, and wine and cheese each evening. Other catering and activity planning available - call for details.

WEDDINGS

We are still booking weddings for 2012 - and have begun booking for 2013. Call for an appointment to tour the property and obtain pricing proposals. (See Weddings under Events for more details).
